Heard the kobe beef here was great and had to come visit! Made a reservation a week ahead with plenty of opening. The parking outside of this restaurant is available after 7p (would have reserved for a later time if we knew this), and bc our reservation was at 6:30p, we parked in the garage right across from the restaurant, which was pretty convenient too. The restaurant has a nice environment, it was not crowded at all when we were there and the decors felt very classy. Our waiters were pretty fancy too, all dressed up, and very nice service. They cut the steaks in front of us before serving, which was nice. The food we got here was very good, pricy of course, but delicious. We started with the French onion soup, very little soup in it, more like a combination of breading/cheese/onions. But the flavor was amazing, one of the best French onion soups I've had. The truffled mash was delicious too, truffle flavor was strong and a very good filler to eat between each bite of steak. We got the Wagyu ribeye, which was pretty good, wish there was some kind of sauce that came with it bc it was a pretty large piece of steak to be eating alone. The kobe beef though, was the highlight. We got the kobe tasting and each bite melted like butter. It was the best beef I have ever had. The tasting goes from less fatty to more fatty, and we really enjoyed every bite. The kobe beef here is so worth the try!!
My gf took me here for my birthday, and I had a great experience. The service was super. Everyone was attentive and I felt like they actually want us there, like I was an important guest. I forgot what the name of the drink we ordered was, but it was nice, wasn't watered down at all. We ordered the Kobe beef tasting, my first time ever eating it and I thought it was delicious. I've been telling my friends and coworker about this spot since.
Service was efficient and staff was very attentive. Food was amazing Steak I order was 9/10 their chicken 10/10
I took my bf here for his birthday and it was just a perfect experience! The service was super! We really felt like we were taken care of lol. Every staff member we interacted were part of our good experience. We loved everything we ordered. For appetizer we ordered a cheese platter that came with the most delicious grapes and it came with the cheese of the day. I ordered the spicy rigatoni, which I really enjoyed, there's definitely some spice to it. As for steak, we ordered the 212 selection which comes with 3 different types of steaks (2 oz kobe beef, 6 oz filet mignon, and 10 oz Australia wagyu skirt steak) This is now one is our favorite steakhouses
Steak is amazing , the lobster soup is the best . French onion soup a little too much taste . Their bread is fresh. Service is great staff are nice welcoming. Place is romantic and clean . Bathroom are very nice with full mirror (female)
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: Fancy, Special Occasions Loved their steak the first time I went. And they still retained amazing quality of food. I loved the Rib-Eye, truffle mash, and creamed spinach!
Someone took me here for my birthday on a Saturday evening. When we got there, the restaurant wasn't busy so we got seated immediately. We sprung for the wagyu tasting, the t bone, mashed potatoes and the soufflé for dessert. First off, the wagyu was divine. It was perfectly cooked medium rare and literally melted in your mouth. I cried that there wasn't a lot and I had to share. The t-bone was a bit disappointing. Texture, it was great. Flavor was a bit off. Not sure if it's the way it's dry aged or the peppercorn on top but the taste paled in comparison to the wagyu. The chocolate soufflé won us back at the end. It was so rich and decadent and I almost finished the whole thing without sharing. Wagyu is definitely worth coming for!
I've been to 212 Steakhouse before for their brunch which unfortunately fell flat. Their dinner, however, is pretty great (if you order the right things)! I returned back as my mom and I went to the city and she strictly eats halal. Do keep in mind that not all of the steaks are halal such as the Kobe beef and other various steak cuts. However, our server was very accommodating and specified exactly what was halal and what he recommended. At the end, my mom and I got the calamari, wagyu ribeye and lamb chops to share and it was the perfect amount of food for us two. The calamari was decent but I've had better, portion size was more than adequate though. The wagyu ribeye is more fatty than the wagyu sirloin but it is so good- if you're having steak you might as well indulge right? The lamb chops were also great as well and I really like that they were pistachio crusted it was unique. Both were cooked at a nice medium rare. I've had better steaks but 212 Steakhouse isn't bad at all- as long as you stick to the meats here you'll enjoy your meal (seems obvious as it's called 212 Steakhouse, so lesson learned)!
